Madeline Schlegel is a co-op at the ESI, where she aids the work of their education program and provides assistance to the communications and engagement teams.
Madeline is a second-year student at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has a combined major in Environmental Studies and Political Science, and a minor in Law and Public Policy. She has previously interned for the Global Center for Climate Justice, where she primarily helped out with the Center’s newsletter and their research projects. Madeline has interests in climate justice, education, and policy, and intends to fulfill these interests as an environmental, public interest lawyer in the future.
In her free time, Madeline enjoys watching sports — particularly women’s soccer — exploring Boston, trying new restaurants, and taking trips home to Dallas, Texas to visit her mom and three dogs: JoJo, Ollie, and Andy.
