Rachel Fritts is a science writer, editor, and reporter specializing in animal biology, conservation, and environmental science. She has freelanced for outlets including The Guardian, Science News, Hakai Magazine, InsideClimate News, and MIT Technology Review, and has interned with Science, Audubon Magazine, Undark, and Mongabay. She is currently writing about birds and the people working to protect them for the American Bird Conservancy.
Rachel contributed to ESI’s science communication efforts including the TILclimate podcast and the Climate Portal, as a member of MIT’s Graduate Program in Science Writing class of 2020.
