Sara Laura Wilson is a research assistant for the MIT Climate Machine, where she is developing methodology to educate and incentivize climate action through various media, including audio-visual experiences and community-led initiatives. Sara joins ESI from the MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering, where she is a first-year PhD candidate. She holds a M.Sc. and M.A. in Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London and Royal College of Art, respectively, where she studied sustainable interventions in live music events. Sara is thrilled to return to MIT, where she received her Bachelor’s in Materials Science and Engineering, and she aims to leverage her experience in science, engineering and design to develop holistic and human-centered approaches to climate action.
