What Is MITASC?

MITASC (pronounced “my task”) is the MIT Action Sustainability Corps. Our mission is to develop a community of MIT students who are personally and professionally committed to advancing a sustainable world, now and throughout their lives.

Created in 2019 as a complement to students’ internships and work-study projects in environmental fields, MITASC supports students in finding and selecting new work opportunities, but also seeks to go beyond work experience. We equip our members with a flexible mental toolkit for understanding the values and practice of sustainability, introduce them to a network of dedicated peers, encourage introspection, and prepare them for lifelong learning.

MITASC is open to both undergraduate and graduate students interested in careers in sustainability. To inquire about joining, contact Sarah Meyers.
