This year at MIT orientation, ESI joined with the MIT Office of Sustainability, MIT Dining, the Office of the First Year, the Abdul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab (J-WAFS), and the MIT Water Club to distribute hundreds of reusable water bottles to new students, while educating them about water issues in Cambridge and on campus and the environmental costs of disposable plastic bottles.
